Welcome to the Carolina Political Review

The Carolina Political Review is a publication dedicated to serving the Carolina community by connecting UNC-Chapel Hill to local, statewide, national, and global political issues. The CPR is the editorial arm of the Institute of Politics, and as such is a nonpartisan publication. Nonpartisan in this sense does not mean the content contained within will be without opinions; in fact, by nonpartisan we seek to present many sides of arguments, along with objective reports on wide-ranging topics.

As a nascent platform, we are always seeking motivated and talented writers who wish to contribute. We welcome infrequent contributors as well as regular staff writers. In simple terms: if you want to write for us, we are willing to work with you.

The website is still a work in progress and will likely continue to have minor tweaks and makeovers. That said, we will always be pushing out new content on this site and our social media platforms.

If you are interested in hearing more — or in getting involved — then please send any questions to the editor-in-chief, whose email you can find under the “Team” section when hovering over the “About” tab.
